Last night we had our first official monsoon rainfall! We were able to get about 400 gallons, which I don't thinks too bad considering it wasn't sustained rainfall. It's a great feeling seeing the project come together and knowning that I now have a way to provide water for my family in case of emergency. It may not be the prettiest set up but it works!
Well its a new year and we've been blessed with 4 new baby goats! Belle, our Mini-Nubian momma goat went into labor on New Years eve and after about an hour of birthing, she had 2 girls and 2 boys. All were healthy, but one is a bit of a runt and was a little delayed in his ability to nurse. But so far so good and he's doing well now.
Names are as follows:
Fredlind (boy) - Brown w/ White blaze on belly and head (largest of group)
Nert (boy) - brown and the smallest of the group
Fawn (girl) - tan with white ears
Ember (girl) - moonspots (like her daddy Wyldfire)
Hope you enjoy the video and if you live in the southern Arizona area and are interested in a mini-nubian goat.... send a message :)

(early release) Our Mini-Nubian momma, Belle, is expecting babies any day now! In the video I'll show an insulated nursery and birthing area in the barn that I made out of a the old "Rain Roof" project.... and at the end, I'll show some clips of how the babies came to be ;)
Just a quick little build of an automotive style creeper with large casters so that I can use it in the dirt as well!
NOTE: I know its been a while since I've posted anything here.... so please let me know if you have any questions answered on video or thoughts for future video projects.
